IP Chambers is the brainchild of Buddhike. With extensive experience in litigation, he contributes his vast knowledge in Intellectual Property such as Trademark infringement and Unfair Competition, Patents, Industrial Designs, Copyright and Geographical Indications, prosecution of office actions and oppositions at the National Intellectual Property Office, Trademark Licensing/Franchise Agreements, Copyright Agreements, Technology Transfer Agreements/ Patent License Agreements, also specializes in Patent Drafting in various technical areas.

Having graduated from Sri Lanka Law College in 1999 and called to the Bar in 2000, he was privileged to be mentored by leading Commercial and Intellectual Property law practitioners in Sri Lanka before starting his own practice. His other areas of practice include Arbitration, Commercial Litigation, Contracts and Agreements, Mergers & Acquisition.

He holds an LL.M in Intellectual Property and Commercial Law from the University of West London (2015) and an LL.M in International Trade Law from the University of Wales (2009). He is a Member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA), Bar Association of Sri Lanka and Colombo Law Society.
